Following government advice, we have temporarily closed our groups. We have also stopped any public-facing activities for the time being.
We understand that this decision will be disappointing, but our main priority is the well-being of our recovers, volunteers, carers and families. We will still provide support to all our TALK members.
•The aim of TALK Surrey CIO is: to relieve the communication needs of people with aphasia (primarily but not exclusively as a result of stroke) in the county of Surrey and surrounding area.
•Supermarket Nominations – please keep nominating us as a charity in Waitrose and Asda with their green token schemes. The more we nominate the more we will get chosen. ASDA Feltham, Sheerwater and Woking. Waitrose Goldsworth Park, West Byfleet, Woking, Weybridge, Godalming.
•Request a Home Collection box and donate your loose change. This a small cardboard box
•Banks – do you know anyone who works for a bank? A lot of companies run an employee charity match funding service, which means if we raise £500, they will match it with another £500. If you do know anyone, let us know?
•Take part in an event – abseiling, walking, running, skydiving, the list is endless. Ask a friend/relative to join you with TALK sponsorship
•Become a TALK Supporter – host a coffee morning and raise funds for TALK, sell Christmas Cards etc or hold a Pampered Chef or Phoenix Cards party.
