People visiting our group often remark how friendly and welcoming it is.  We want our new members to feel at ease and to increase in confidence.

We have round tables seating 6 – usually 3 members and 3 volunteers.  This makes it is easy for communication.

The content of the sessions is varied. We try to include things that are of interest to everyone.  We encourage our members to share their own experiences whenever possible.  Sometimes this is to do with their work or their interests and hobbies.  We use games, art, music, quizzes and many other methods to develop good communication and social interaction between members.

Friendly trained volunteers are always present and the relaxed atmosphere promotes lots of laughter and fun.
