The thrill and excitement of panto came alive, almost, at the Tuesday morning group’s presentation of Jack and the Beanstalk at its last meeting in December.

The brainchild of volunteer Martin Haddon we had little time to perfect our performance but everyone joined in the fun and showed remarkable ingenuity in making costumes and props. Motorcycle handlebars were mounted on Jack’s “cow” and Jack [aka Hilary] provided a creditable beanstalk.
