Where we meet: Rowleys, Victoria Road, Cranleigh, Surrey, GU6 8NT It is a new year and a new start for the Cranleigh group, which was forced to close last October because of accommodation difficulties. New premises have been found and the Mayor of Waverley, Richard Grant, performed the grand opening ceremony on 13th January. The new location is at Rowleys, a centre for people aged 50-plus in Victoria Road, opposite Sainsbury's and just off the High Street. Previously a day care facility servicing a now demolished adjacent sheltered housing block, Rowleys provides a large bright room with storage for resources and suitable seating which meets the needs of the Cranleigh group. |
