The Megabee Writing Tablet

The MegaBee writing tablet is a new product that some stroke recoverers may find helpful. Its makers, E2L Products Ltd., claim that it is easy to learn and to use and allows communication on a letter-by-letter basis with recoverers who are unable to speak and write legibly. One device can serve many people so that it can be a general purpose tool.

It works like this: The device is held by a carer, who can see the user through the space in the handle. The user indicates to the carer which segment of the device he wishes to use by looking at it. The carer observes the eye movement and relates it to the segments on his side of the device.
